Member Assistant Program
 

MAP ( Member Assistance Program) is exactly what it sounds like– a union program to help members of ATU Local 587 and their families solve problems which affect their personal lives or their job performance. It is timely. It is confidential. It is voluntary. Not associated with King County Metro.



MAP addresses itself to any type of problem for which the members
or their families need assistance. These include martial difficulties,
legal or financial stress, domestic or emotional crises and of course, problems caused by alcohol other drug abuse, trauma from harassment or violence of any kind, on or off the job.

MAP has identified a group of professionals who can, with one phone call, help you find the qualified person you need. ATU Local 587 has A Commitment to Map because:

MAP protects the member’s rights to privacy and confidentially regarding personal problems.
MAP recognizes that are effectively treated enhance the member’s efficiency and job promotional capacities.
The cost depend upon the type of service that you require and may be covered by your medical benefits. Plans vary, so check
